I'm Mariapia, Italian and originally from Sicily, but I became French because I live in Rennes for work. I'm a perfusionist, working in cardiac surgery, and for those who may not know, my job involves stopping and restarting the heart during a surgery (that's not all I do, but it's my catchphrase 😂). In my free time, I like to dance; I practice two styles: salsa and Afro dance. I love nature in all its forms and colors, and I find that a walk by the sea or in a forest is the best way to connect with oneself. As a celiac, I also discovered a new passion: cooking. Being the good Italian that I am, pizza on Saturday night is a must 🍕🇮🇹
